Aspect
Aspirating Smoke Detectors are Elotec’s primary product group. Through more than 55 000 sold units in agriculture and other demanding environments, we have acquired a unique base of experience.
Sensor Variants
Elotec has developed new sensor types to meet varied demands from all kinds of environments – ranging from critical objects in clean surroundings to agriculture and heavy industry – making the Elotec ASPECT extremely adaptable. Grizzle provides early detection of visible smoke, even in extremely dusty environments. Nitro detects smoke and invisible fire gases, even in corrosive surroundings with large amounts of air-borne dust. Lazeer employs unified sensor technologies to achieve the highest possible sensitivity to all types of fires, and is used for early warning in clean rooms.
Important Applications
Ceiling height and ventilation systems in industrial and agricultural buildings imply that detectors in these buildings should possess class B sensitivity. This might present challenges in relation to naturally occurring dust and corrosive agents, that could cause unwanted alarms – or even lead to faults – in equipment that isn’t developed with such conditions in mind. The Elotec ASPECT is the only device on the market that is robust enough to function without problems in these surroundings and still maintain class B sensitivity according to EN54-20.
Agriculture
ASPECT is the original Aspirating Smoke Detector for agriculture, with an impressive track record in Norwegian and Scandinavian barns, chicken farms, stables and greenhouses since 1992.
Industry
ASPECT provides early and reliable detection even in dusty and humid environments, and is the natural choice for production areas and warehouses.
Churches
ASPECT is a service friendly and nearly invisible system for early warning in church rooms. By being designed for rough environments, the system can easily handle large temperature changes, and the Aspect provides higher sensitivity than point detectors under high ceilings.
Elotecniq
The problem solver for apartment buildings
With a simple control device you can take control over self-caused alarms, so that cooking fumes and such do not cause a full alarm with subsequent evacuation and response from the fire brigade.
One single press on the Elotecniq device in your apartment will silence the alarm and allow time to air out the room. If smoke is still present when this period has passed, the local warning will restart.
To ensure that other residents are warned in the event of a real fire, the alarm can only be stopped three times in a row, and only alarms originating in your own apartment.
The Elotecniq notifies of its status through clear voice messages.
The device is available for both wired and wireless systems.
EO 120
Connected smoke alarms have become commonplace, and ensure that everyone in the house is warned of a fire situation. But how do you locate the beginning fire when you are surrounded by squealing alarms?
The EO 120 with Elotec’s patented Fire Origin feature guides you directly to where the fire is, through one simple press on any smoke alarm in the system.
Many cheap smoke alarms use the 433 MHz frequency band, which is open to all kinds of equipment – from garage door openers to radio controlled toys. EO 120 uses the reserved alarm frequency of 868 MHz, which provides communication without interference and with maximum safety. 15 separate channels enables the EO 120 to be installed in several apartments in the same building / neighborhood without affecting each other.
An easily configurable booster feature provides increased range where necessary.
The EO 120 comes complete with a battery with an expected lifespan of 8 years!

Through connecting special water alarms, the Jubilee system can detect and notify of moisture / leaks.
Panic / Assault
The Jubilee can be configured to activate transmission of an emergency message when the button is pressed rapidly a set number of times.
Magnum
The Magnum family consists of the alarm panels Magnum 10 and Magnum 25. Both panels share the same simple operating and programming functions – the difference lies in the potential for expansions. The fire alarm panels have high capacity – each loop allows for 125 unique device addresses and high power consumption. Additionally, the possibility of using shadow sounders makes it possible to connect a large number of loop-powered sounders without occupying address space that could be used for detectors and other devices. Addressed an connected devices are detected and recognized automatically, and the system is fully operational in less than two minutes. Further customization can be performed using the panel keyboard, IR remote, PS/2 keyboard or from a PC with dedicated software. As easy as using your mobile phone! Flexible configuration of I/O devices and sounders allows for detailed customization. With 384 programmable zones and 512 sounder and I/O groups the system can be tailored to any need
Magnum 25 – the fire alarm panel that takes on any challenge
The MAGNUM 25 is a powerful analogue addressable fire alarm panel with the possibility of distributed intelligence. A high level of redundancy and backup functions makes the MAGNUM 25 well suited for even the most complex installations. The modular system can be easily expanded. The MAGNUM 25 is supplied with 1 or 3 loops, and the system can be expanded to incorporate up to 96 loops through a network of sub-panels. These can be supplied as “black boxes” or with integrated control panels. Networking of sub-panels and/or control panels is possible through RS485, fiber-optics or TCP-IP. By using RS485 or fiber, the network can be set up in a redundant 2-way ring topology for maximum safety.
Magnum 10 – tiny powerhouse
Functionally similar to its big brother – the Magnum 25 – but supplied in a compact housing with one loop. The panel can be expanded with one extra loop and extra control panels, but no sub-panels. The practical housing provides ample room for cables and connections, and lends itself very well to recessed mounting
Royal
The Royal range – Elotec’s wireless fire alarm systems for the professional market – has reached its third generation. The latest addition, Royal Z+, fulfills the needs of most objects, while the original ROYAL still has its forte in very large installations. Advanced wireless technology produces systems that are flexible and easy to install. With no cables, the system becomes less visually intrusive than traditional systems, and attractive low-profile devices contribute to a pleasing whole. The Royal range uses a dedicated frequency for wireless alarms that gives better reach and less interference. The Royal systems have achieved a lot of attention in certain circles, and have been chosen to protect such high profile objects as the UNESCO listed wooden houses in Røros, the island community of Grip outside Kristiansund and Sverresborg Folk Museum in Trondheim.
ROYAL Z+
Certified to EN54-25, the system is considered equal to wired systems, making it easy to choose the Royal Z+ for installations where it is impractical or undesirable to use cables, or in cases where swift installation is a demand. The control panel is compact and can handle up to 240 wireless devices. Configuration is carried out through simple guides at the panel – with no need for special equipment. The radio range can be extended through booster panels and intelligent antennae.
ROYAL – for large areas
The very largest installations require radio coverage of large areas. Using the ROYAL system, as many as 50 panels can be connected in a wireless network, and together handle up to 3000 wireless detectors. ROYAL is a flexible system, that through the use of control- and booster panels in a network is fully scalable and suited for anything from the smallest installations to large commercial buildings and entire urban environments.
Voice ES 801
The ES 801 is an advanced conventional fire alarm panel with 8 zones.
The panel has been designed according to Elotec’s “Electro-lego” principle for ease of installation and service, and features several functions that is otherwise only found in addressable systems. Sounders can be powered and controlled by the detector loop, and control panels are addressable to enable sectioned user interaction.
Up to 9 compact control panels can be connected – so that each zone can be operated separately, plus one panel for operating the full system. This makes the system very well suited for buildings with several residential units and / or business premises.
